It sucks. I really didn't care about the extra ~20gig difference on models, but this is ridiculous. I feel the need to return mine, and hold out. Already established PS3 owners should be compensated for this crap.candid_llama

I can understand being frustrated with the fact that you paid more for your console than it costs now, but would you trade the $100 and some HDD space for those months of enjoyment you've gotten from your PS3?

Really, this is good news for people who have PS3s anyway. The more attractive the console is to potential buyers, the more PS3 owners we have, which means PS3's market share increases, which means developers can make more money from a PS3 game, which means we all get more and better PS3 games. Win-win situation, brother.

sony beeing that it is a jugernaut electronics nd entertainment company needs to have it own dload service for music movies and shows like i tunes with a really slick interface

and an announcement that in game XMB will be relased a week after GDC

i dont know if im the only one that feels this way but i feel a bit cheated because 1st it was yhe 80 gig ps3 with a free game and now theres rumors of a 120-160 gig ps3 with a dual shock 3 us 60 gb buyers paid full 600 dollars for that system and now people will get the luxury of paying nearly100 dollars or so less and will get a better deal i feel even though its impossible that sony should reward the people that purchased the 60 gig because we have bben there since day 1 for them with the high price tag and lack of games whose with me on this one?

ps they dont even offer you the option of purchasing a bigger hard drive in stores because not everyone has the luxury of just replacing it with there laptops hard drive nor do they offer a data transfer as well
