Now after three matches, Poland faced the same fate they expereinced in 02. Four years ago they came in fourth with 3 points, and now this year they ended up in third place with 3 points. Here are the results from the three matches.

Poland vs Ecuador (0-2)

In the opening match, I remember racing home to see their opening match, but to see them lose. Throughout the entire match it looked like Poland felt they would win the match, but Ecuador disproved the facts by beating them 0-2. Poland came close to tying it in the closing minutes, but every shot was stopped by the woodwork. And so we lose our opening match, giving us little hope to qualify with germany next on the list.

 

Poland vs Germany (0-1)

The match where you were proud of your team until stoppage time. In this minute, Poland fought so hard taking abusive from German fans throughout the entire 90 minutes even with a man down with twenty minutes remaining. When the 91st minute hit and it looked like just both teams would tie, Germany manages to sneak a goal in past Boruc to put them up 1-0. At that moment I lost my cool, and began a fury riot, and this match is one match I care not to talk about.

Poland vs Costa Rica (2-1)

The match where Poland finally won a match out of the group stage. I was not there to watch it, but I'm very happy they manged to leave with three points. It seems Cosat Rica took the lead early, but Poland came back with two goals from Bosacki to put them up ahead 2-1 and win the game.

Now that they are leaving Germany, I really hope that over the next years, they will be working hard to make the players stronger and add some new talent to the team to propel them  to the second round again, and maybe even in the quarter-finals.

This IMO is the best world cup commercial ever produced. Every soccer addict should watch it, and let me tell you whenever I saw this commercial on the tv it really pumped me for the finals and even brought a tear to my eye.

That's right, Juventus won their 29th scudetto today against Reggina. It was down to the wire in the serie A with Juventus ahead of Milan by 3 points. If Juventus lost today, and if AC Milan won against Roma then they would capture the title, but Juventus proved to be strong even with the scandal involved. Goals came from Tezeguet and Del Piero, and from then on it was in the books. Even with the scandal involved with Juventus, you know what who cares? This is Juventus's time to shine and let them celebrate. They're only one scudetto away from thirty, and you know I hope they win next year, they damn well deserve it. They're a great Italian club and deserve to be on top.

Today Liverpool faced West. Ham for the FA cup. The game began with defender J.Carragher scored an own goal in the 21st minute. The danger came again in the 28th when West Ham's Etherington scored to make it 2-0. But Liverpool came back in the 32nd minute when Cisse scored with an assist by Gerrard. Gerrard would score 54 minutes later to tie the game at 2-2. West Ham came back though with a goal by Konchesky, but just like that Liverpool came back with another goal by Gerrard to send the game into extra time at 3-3. During the penalty shootout, Liverpool would overcome the threat with help from keeper Reina allowing Liverpool to win 3-1 in the shootout with a little reminder from last year. Once again congrats to Liverpool, and a good fight put up by West Ham.

Well on Wed. the 26th, Milan went up against Barcelona on an away match where Milan would have to score two goals to go into the final, but it would be a difficult one. Milan had lost the 1st leg 0-1, and in Spain they would have to turn up the volume. Well if you were expecting them to go to the finals and redeem themselves after last year's humiliation, then you would be wrong. Goals would come from Barcelona's Eto'o and Larsson and from Milan's Shevchenko and Inzaghi. Once halftime hit and it was 0-0 you knew that Milan would lose, but Milan would try to come back with a goal from Shevchenko, but would be called back due to Puyol. And before you knew it Milan was knocked out of the Champions league leaving Barcelona to go Paris to face Arsenal. But no doubt this was a spectatcular semi-final, and would have made an even better final.

Well after five years with my big fat PS2 which I had recieved on Christmas 2001, it was time for a new one. The only game it could read was WE8, but still it would make that annoying rrrrr noise, and I would have to shake it. So anyway I bought a new slim one which was really small when I took it home, and I bought mlb 06 the show as well, which is a great baseball game and even though it's amazing it can never replace mvp.

Well it's been one year since I joined gamespot, and it has been great. As you can see I joined two days after my birthday, and just a few days later I joined the greatest union on gamespot which is the soccer addict union. I've been on gamespot ever since 2003 when I just typed  videogames.com on google and found it. I could have joined back in 03, but I was either busy or most likely lazy :P to join. Anyway it's been great, and here's to more memories in the future.

Well, today was the day I turned 17. The day started out pretty nice, but with a quiz, and a test, but after that I met up with a group of friends, and one of them gave me a nice birthday ribbon, and a mini inflatable Fenway Park model. After school, and practice I went out to First and Last Tavern where I enjoyed some great pizza, and came home to a great birthday cake with a beautiful boston red sox logo on it. After that I called up another friend, and tom. I plan to use some of my birthday money to buy RE4 and MLB 06 the show. It's great to be seventeen. :D
