i dunno if cows really need sympathy. this isn't a cow specific thing.
GS generally scores games much harder than other sites. look at what happened to sheep with MP3 or zelda TP, or what happened to lems with bioshock (lots of lems thought it would get a 9.5+ because all the other sites were scoring it in that range, and there was a lot of whining when it got a 9.0).
