This. Also, if you spend a long time in jail that can give you the right to have one. Basically it's something "gangsters" get for doing "gangsters crap". It's all stupid. I have to deal with idiots like that every day @ work. I feel there should be a special consideration for the death penalty. If you can be classified as a uncurable gang member who has commited 3 violent felonies, you should just be killed.

Wow, that's an interesting thought. That would be frightening! Not knowing how cars work,how planes fly, how microwaves work, how it rains, what lightning is, what the moon and stars are,what causes the northern lights, what causes earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions, and hurricanes. I'd probably invent some all-powerful cosmic being to explain them.

I have quite a few 1000/200 games, and I too understand the notion that a game just doesn't feel complete until I max out achievements. Of course that's not always the case. I actually played Avatar beyond the 3 minutes it took to max out.

I feel a good achievement system in a game just makes it that much more challenging. It makes you play the game more and with more attention to detail. It gives you a sense of pride in achieving a relatively hard one and it promotes a heathy sense of competition between friends.

I for one hate when games have achievements that are way too hard like COD: WAR, Ninja Gaiden or DMC4, but that's not to say I won't play them. I just go into it understanding it's more about story and beating the game and hoping to take away a few hundred points. On the other hand I have played games ONLY for points and found them to be fun and entertaining like Kung Fu Panda or Lost: Via Domus.

Small people love small things. I would enjoy my NASCAR, drugs and Jerry Springer (is that s#!* even still on?) and be oblivious to the rest. I would essentially be too dumb and too distracted by shiny things to be sad or scared.

i dont know why, but clockwork orange and 1984 have become to "cool" books that everyone reads. Similarly to how American History X/Fight Club/Boondocks Saints are the cool movies to watch. Anyone notice this?MetallicaKings
