So the PSP version is not the best ? ;) ...

Btw pretty amazing update... EU got nothing,,, happy turkey day...lol ;)

Edit. Is it worth downloading PULSE ?

digimonkey12

Yeah.. EU doesn't have Thanksgiving :P We have a little different mentality. We didn't have Halloween and we barely celebrate the last night of October - it's like more quiet and sad day when people think about their absent members of family.. - "Stop watching comedy!" or "Turn this radio down!" :) or "WHAT! they released Zombie Tycoon? What a totally lack of feelings!" - it's a joke of course :) hehe :) However - I think that US Store and EU Store have different crews and updates are in some way independent :) Like always - I'm getting excited every thursday just after waking up :) Morning coffee and quick look on PSN news (or digimonkey12's post :) ), looking for info about Store update :) US has great games library EU is little behind but every week I'm counting to see something from US Store, ie. Resident Evil2 or Soul Reaver. Ston3henge has right and he sad all about it in another post - PSone Classics are one of the best thing that could happen on PSP :) You get a full game experience for a half price of "regular" PSP game or even less. And many of us were playing those games 5-6 or maybe even 10 years ago (FF VII) and even today they are damn good!..

So, maybe I went off-topic but I'm just curious about today EU update :) And I'm very happy about US update - big bow for Sony. PSP is alive again! :)

BTW, did you mean "Wipeout Pulse"? If so, then I recommend it all the way :)

my advice is don't bother. it only uses about 1/3 of your TV anyways so it can maintain aspect ratiodarkspineslayer
It's true. I've got original PSP AV Cable (composite, with 3 chinch plugs) and I use it only for watching movies or for PSX games (only them are fullscreen supported). From time to time I play Tekken:Dark Resurrection but it's like 5 rounds and I'm switching video back to PSP. If you don't have HDTV, I assume you don't have big screen, therefore playing on PSP games on small TV will be frustrating. And on non hdtv - letters, menus will be blurry. This cable cost about $15, I don't regret purchasing it if I think about watching movies on every TV I have. But playing games.. Emm.. PSP won't upscale games, only from PSX so I'm not happy about that :/

As for minis - Mahjongg Artifacts: Chapter 2 is a VERY solid, puzzle/logic game. It's better designed than PC version - believe me, my whole family plays it on PC and everybody feels better in PSP version :) Cheap, fun and good replay value (collecitng artifacts, just like trophies). As for PSone classics - in EU there is only Crash Bandicoot 3, Final Fantasy VII (the best RPG ever created on PSX) and latest Metal Gear Solid. US Store has waaaaay better games: Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Soul Reaver.. I find PSX games playing at least for 30 minutes because they were not intended for portability (long periods of time between savepoints).

Believe me, Sony won't discontinue selling games on UMD. And even they will do it - there is no difference between PSP3000 and PSPGo in downloading games. For me - buy PSP3000 in some bundle pack and 16GB MemoryStick ;)

Sometimes if your neighbour also has wifi router - his signal can interfere with yours. Try to use channel 6 instead 11 or eventually channel 1 (router and all devices connected to it). I had many disconnections, even with my Mac. After changing CH11 to CH6 problem disappeared.

Every router has small reset button. You can find it in the back of the device. Use pen to reach it. But first, tell which game you're using when connecting online and which firmware is installed on your PSP. It's wery weird because you can browse internet but you can't play online on the same device..
