Hi im a gamer. I am not biased to any system. I have a classic xbox and a ps2 but plan on buying all next gen systems when i have the money. Maybe not the wii thought cause i dont know how well its gonna do, but back to the point im not here stating an opinion im just here to tell you why the ps3 will will the console war(not to say the others systems wont do great also)and why you might want to purchase one in the future. 1st hardware : http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=24948509 notice no official broken ps3 thread) One big mistake on the creation of the 360 was the lack of a hard drive. when people are arguing about the ps3 and 360's power(which is just the most powerful all out) a good statement is that the 360 has twice as much ram as the 360,But the ps3 has a standard hard drive. Anything not standard in the system developers cant take advantage of, now because of the HD being standard the developers can take a section of the hard drive and use it for memory(i dont know how its done i just know its possible and usefull) so between the blue-ray and hard drive the lack of memory is nonexistent. 2nd Games: People argue that there are no games. I will tell you though it will be huge, quality, fun and Free. 4th Sales: Many people state that the sales are horrible and i agree with them all....................Wait a minute. Across PAL territories the PlayStation 3 has now sold more than a cool 1 million units since its March 23 launch 10 weeks ago, as reported by trade site MCV. This makes the console a faster seller than either the original PlayStation or the PlayStation 2. The PS3 broke UK console records by selling 165,000 units in the first two days it was on sale in the UK, the second-best debut only to the handheld PlayStation Portable. Last week, Nintendo Australia was shouting from the rooftops about the success of the Wii in the country, with the console becoming the fastest to reach 100,000 units sold down under. PS3 600$ Free wifi and online service and if you say the service is bad go watch a video of home and stfu. 360 400$ online for four years 200$ 200 + 400 = 600 Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy i can do math!! Still no WiFi :( 5th last gen user base: ps2 around 100 Million xbox around 20 million gamecube around 20 million so before you go and bash the ps3 stop to think.................... Did i take my meds today. And for a final word im NOT BIASED of ANY CONSOLE a game is a game no matter what platform
