Awards are starting to mean less and less. Awards shows are moneyhatted events to sell things, Microsoft is the king of paying off reviews and developers for an edge, this award is nothing new. MEh.
The answer to your question is ANYTHING is possible. Which makes your question a dumb question. The facts are Blu-Ray is needed for next gen games. DVD9 is limited. Blu-Ray is selling well as a media format.

Rumble is on its way too ;) Even though i dont miss it. Motion Sensing is an input feature and I have more fun inputing stuff into a game then getting a rumble effect that for the most part is not even accurate. SIXXAXIS FTW =)
Sixxaxis is probably one of SONY's best moves for the 3rd Generation of Playstation. Implementation of motion sensing gameplay into games might turn out to be one of its greatest strengths. MOTORSTORM shows this, it just takes some getting use to and your good to go.
