Nintendo does not have the rights to Perfect Dark or Banjo Kazooie or Goldeneye, but they do have the rights to the Donkey Kong games made by rare.arkboy_basic
Bummer, well lets hope that Nintendo gets that worked out, atlot of the good 64 games were made by Rare. I guess i'll go drink egg nog, yeah, Duckman5 knows what i'm talking about.

I just realized something about one of the VC games released yesterday, Donkey Kong Country is developed by RARE!  How did Nintendo get the rights to that game, then?  Does that mean that thier is still hope for Banjo Kazooie, and Perfect Dark??

his Fireball.

anyone kinda upset about that?  his fireball attack was a mainstay in most, if not all, all the 2D Mario games... but since he went 3D... has been missing.  the only thee fireball appearance i have seen in Mario games since the last 2D Mario game on SNES has been his fireball special in MKDD, in New Super Mario Bros (while a Mario game that has 3D graphics, is still only played in a 2D plane like past 2D Mario games), and Super Smash Bros (original and Melee; but this series is not Mario focused as the other two).

with SMG coming... i kinda hope that the Mario Fireball shows up for its triumphant return.  being able to shoor fireballs 1) in a 3D world and 2) with the Wiimote would have to pwn.  what do you guys think?

I'm not really upset about it, i'm happy with how the previouse games turned out, but i agree that fire mario on the wii could be really sweet.

In games for the SNES, where you would use the arrow pad, can you use the joystick on the gamecube controller when playing them?Jenovawitness
Yes, it works. But i highly recomend getting a VC controller.

I understand where he is comming from, he pobably doesn't own a wii, when i was still in the anticipation stage before the wii came out i thought it was cool just to look at the protective cases they have at walmart and imagin that it was a real controller.

The Zelda puppet was the only fun part of the fight, the rest was meh. Some epic music would have helped, the bad music ruined it for me.RoyTheSwordsman
I thought that when you had that dule with Gannondorf the music was kind of cool.
