Return the hub for the surround sound system? I don't have any receipts for that... They will charge me money I don't have...

There is no red light in the hub part where i put the optic cable into the surround sound. I donno if there ever has been... Is there suppose to be one in a logitech z-5500 system do you know? There isn't a optic slot on the graphics one. I have teh cheapest X-fi sound card. I bought it right after christmas for like 150? it works in 6 ch direct through that. I don't know what to do....

I have a logitech z-5500 suround sound system. I bought the advanced av pack with the optic slot for the box. I just recently found a cheap optic cable off of ebay. put it in the system and the box, didn't work. I flipped the input on the system to optic and it said no digital data. I went into the x-box settings and changed all of it to digital and dolby surround sound. The surround sound is fine it works on my comp all the time. but nonetheless it still says no digital data when it comes to the optic cable. Is the cable broke or am I not doing something?

Ever since i reformatted my drive it won't play avi format videos. It just plays the sound. Winamp nor windows media player will show the video. I can see mpeg and what not because a lot of videos work for it. Just the avi doesn't work. What and where do i need to download?

I got a sound card for my logitech z-5500 set. It works fine but do i have to disable all the other audio codec drivers? Will it make it sound better or anything if I do?

spend 150$ more and get the z-5500 like i have..... Absolutely amazing. You want to spend a lot of money on surround sound. Because you get what you pay for. If you get a cheap set it will sound like a cheap set.
