[QUOTE="nd5000"]I had a Vic20 as well, and a golf game on tape. Half the time it wouldn't load properly so I'd have to rewind it, reset the computer, and try again.Well my Vic 20 was my first computer and then Commodore 64 after that.. they had no hard drive.. but I had a cassette drive!
My first windows computer was in mid 90's with Windows 95. It had a 3 GB hard drive.

I had to do that with some games I had on cassette too. I have fond memories of those old machines, even though they were not user friendly by todays standards.
Once I copied around 1000 lines of basic code so I could play a free lunar lander game.. tried to run it and got a syntax error. Then proceeded to proofread every line until I found the mistake. Pretty funny in hindsight.
Nice to see some people who had computers that predated hard drives.
