To be honest, I think UFC 2009 is the best fighting game on the 360. I would have had MW2 over 1 and probably AC2 somewhere on the list. I wonder if IGN was just trying to illicit reactions with the list?

Blitz: The League (both 1 and 2.) I just don't get why these weren't huge hits with the people who think Madden is too slow paced or not fun for the amount of strategy involved. Certainly some of the humor was low brow, but the game played great, and the betting/juicing/dirty hitting added a sinister layer of strategy. I really hope a Blitz 3 happens, even though Midway is defunct

So, I know this could be a blog post but I figured y'all in the 360 forums might have oppinions. I just played the Fight Night demo all the way through a couple times, anyone else think they've ruined the game? for those who havent, the punching mechanic is simplified, and the hits dont really feel like your doing any thing; the old one felt like combos took skill. The new mechanics integrated into it just complicate things and make it so much easier to mess up your combos. Also, I dont quite know how much slopper the average fighter has, but I'm near certain it doesnt fly out with such frequency and in such quantities as the fighters in this game do. So horribly dissapointed...

Not to be a cynic, but its baseball.... on steroids. Home Runs come much to frequently, the pitching us much to simplified, and the bugs are sometimes very frustrating. Sometimes you'll have someone try and run down a fly ball the guy will get under it, only to have him get smacked in the face by the ball instead of catching it. Also, they persistently fail to innovate; this game is 08 with a fresh coat of paint, if you want to by a baseball game, but aren't a baseball fan, save some dough and just buy 08. It's a real let down....

I think it would be interesting to see what the Total War guys do on the 360. Civ rev showed us that a strategy game can be successful on the 360, empire total war on the 360, that would be baller. other than that a solid CS:source port would be sweet

Endwar is the best non-turnbased. Its kind of shallow (fundamentally based on a unit triangle.) Don't go into Civ Rev expecting the depth of a PC game, because its a whole different ball game. Its still a lot of fun, but not a normal Civ. Halo Wars could be good. Other than that I'm just beefing up the PC for Empire Total War

Some games you have to put some time into them for the fun to get there, Far Cry 2 is one of them. The first few hours feel a bit stale due to the long times in transit and the annoying story catch taht keeps you hindered for a whole (wont say more for the sake of spoilers). If you stick with it, its an incredible game. I literally put it down for over a week and just finally got into it again this weekend. The onlne feels a little tacked on, but if your solely looking for an long, fun single player game Far Cry 2 is really good.
