I can't view any of the video reviews. I was interesting in looking at their LoL video review but got nothing. Do I have to download a new video player or something?
@NervoZa @nefphlegm To even consider an expansion for the full price of the game... is an insult to the gamers. Unfortunately when money is involved quality tends to become great and yet at the same time... empty.
I guess that guy was right about the storyline being about the angel. I guess he must have gotten the heads up when reading the Book of Cain. I would have figured that out as well... I did when I had guessed that the Lord of Sin and Lies was going to be in Diablo III. I really hope this expansion is not going to be that expensive. Better yet... I'll do what I should have done with Diablo III and wait a year after its release. I'm sure they'll still have a few bugs to work with so I'll wait as the carnival of error screens passes. I've been a fan of the Diablo series since it came out on the original Playstation. They mentioned that you'll be able to allocate your points as you level up? Seems interesting but I feel like it's just a gimmick. Anyone feel that Blizzard could have completely redeemed themselves had this expansion been free?
@ColdstoneX3 Damn I totally forgot about the Book of Cain! Would it still be worth getting at this point? I'm a pretty big fan though I hate how easily they threw Cain under the bus. Anyhow thanks for your replys @QuadDamage85 and coldstone i guess i kinda went too far after all.
SPOILER: Alright in Act IV Tyrael disappears because he lost "hope." As you search for him he manages to open the door and bam... you go to fight Diablo. Where was Tyrael this whole time though? Could it be he was corrupted and him taking the place as Angel of Wisdom was part of Diablo's back up plan? Whatever happened to Adria? She went through the Dark Portal. Ah, the Dark Portal... We won't see the expansion for another year possibly. You have to give the ps3 players time to settle into the game itself. Then a year later... maaaaaaybe the expansion will be announced... not available... announced. You know how Blizzard likes to keep you guessing, waiting, forever...
@SoreThumbsBill @nefphlegm True, it makes more sense to cater to those who are in the world of capcom as opposed to people who are casually playing. If people wanted new characters I think they should put more effort into letting capcom know. As for the 5th character I'm hoping it's a brand new never seen before character that will make people be in awe of their introduction. I've heard rumors of the daughter of Gouken? lol Haggar? I wouldn't be too excited for that. I've also heard Asura... but that would actually be a let down. Either way... I can't wait.
I feel it's a bit lazy that they're simply porting the 4 new characters from Street Fighter X Tekken. Then again what do I know I'm not a computer programmer and really don't know how any of that stuff works. Elena is a nice addition, her and those sexy long legs... I mean games like Street Fighter have had the same conceptual ideas. Ryu always has his staple hadoken, shoryuken, and ever famous chiksmakmekmuken (hurricane kick) so why complain? The graphics are great as they stand! New characters would have been a big plus though without a doubt and new stages will be a sweet edition. Maybe even add some extra content on already existing stages? And possibly work on a walk by hand tutorial for new gamers who really wanna play Street Fighter competitively online but that can't grasp the fundamentals to playing online. I ramble... sorry guys.
The sweat detecting controller is kinda like how microsoft's xbox will be able to listen in on your comments and your facial expressions when watching a commercial. It's to sharpen their ability to produce games (at least that's what we hope) with the understanding that sweaty palms equals stress related situations in-game. Thus they can capitalize on those aspects of gaming/storyline/competitiveness. It's the only logical explanation. Either that or (puts conspiracy theory hat) it's the governments way to keep tabs on your emotions... MAAAAAAN!
