I just put a small electric fan right in front of the PS3 and leave it on medium setting while I play. It keeps it very cool and can play all day long without the PS3 getting extremely hot, like when I don't use the fan. I thought the PS3 wasn't supposed to get this hot, but my old 360 kept cooler. Maybe there is some design flaw that prevents it from keeping cool or releasing the hot air from within the system.Lostboy1224

I might try that, cheers :)

I keep it on top of a shelf, about 10+ cm from the wall, is that well ventilated? I don't see why it heats up so quick :?

Yeah, mine has recently been stupidly loud after about half an hour. I'll try vaccuming though.daveversion1

Supposedly you should keep the power setting on the suction low, otherwise it will fudge up your ps3.

Hi. My PS3 fan goes loco after about 45 mins of play - it gets really loud

I vacuumed the vents, and it seems that has made it a little quieter, I may try it again soon.

But besides vacuuming for dust, how do you recommend you keep it cool?

Should check out the Vice Guide to North Korea, they basically fly in from China and go on a government approved North Korea vacation. Should be 3 parts to the episode but it is pretty interesting on how they do things there for foreigners and "tourists"

Thanks for telling me about that man, from the first two parts it looks quite interesting :)

I'll check the rest out later, thanks once again :)

apparently all the fans in the stadium during the north korea match were hand picked paid chinese actorsFUBAR24

I heard that too... In fact, I wouldn't be suprised if the North Korean public were told they won against Brazil considering the fact they did actually score :|

They have invisible headsets to communicate with their great leader, Kim Jong-il. Also, that great leader can get 10 hole in ones on his first round of golf, but he retired and left golf to mortals, so he doesn't ruin to sport. True story.

Hitler got 12 in the first round... More impressive...

Hey people. I seemed to have taken an interest into North Korea recently. (Probably due to them being in the world cup)

As they are a dictatorship, ruled by one leader, i'm sure they will be some ridiulous laws there yes?

I mean they have concentration camps over there and stuff, so I was wondering how similar to Nazi Germany it would be? :|

If you go on google maps, and search 'North Korea' there are no cities listed, it just says North Korea... I mean I'm suprised they were even allowed out of there country for the world cup :? (The players that is)

So basically, I'm asking if anyone can enlighten me on North Korea... As crazy as that sounds...

South Africa is hosting the event even though they're only ranked 83? :|jalexbrown

Ranking means nothing, South Korea and Japan co-hosted it in 2002 and they're ranked 45 and 47 I think. South Korea were most probably ranked lower than they are now back in 2002, but, they did manage to come 4th overall in 2002 :P.
