I am going to pick the SNES. It had so many great rpg's, like illusion of gaia, both final fantasys, and especially chrono trigger. the SNES built on the franchises that the NES created with games like LTTP and super mario world.

My favorite game on the SNES was LTTP because of its amazing gameplay and its huge world, as well as introducing many conceepts to the zelda franchise
