@ThereWillBeNPCs @demonkingx5 @Salt_AU @jorge69696 That is BS as that money would go for something else or be put in a bank which would then invest that money by fractional loaning.
@SuperDutchy In a way your right. PC gamers have been dubbed "pirates" for someone going out buying a game, making it assessable then sharing it for free. But when someone buys a used game they are PAYING the pirates! As no developer or publisher gets any money from second hand sales.
@zerooo0 If you ever bought a used game you just PAYED the pirates. No money from second hand sales go to the developers or publishers. When a game is "pirated" it has been bought then made accessible then SHARED second hand for free of charge.
@Lu_Shen @Gamer3344 Hey LuShen if you ever bought a used game at a game store you payed the pirates because the devs nor the distributors received money for second hand sales. Verse others buying and giving it away at no cost on PC... just saying.
This is a push to get rented and used games off the market. EA ceo has already stated that the future model for sales is free to try then mirco transactions to piece meal the game to you. This might sound good to some console gamers but it isn't. Any MMO vet can tell you when a game goes FTP with buying content it costs more to play than a sub gets you.
The problem is that it will effect used games. Not just for Gamestop, but everyone playing games. You can't take a game to a friends and play on their system. Or companies like Gamefly who offer a great service.
@Fembot_Eulogy I am a 8 year MMO vet. Played GW2 to lvl 80 on 2 toons. It's ok, got boring after 2 months. While ME3 was a unbelievable adventure. Don't mistake co-op MMO for good story and immersion of a great rpg.
@uncle5555 @Hellhound30x I want the next gen to come out not because I am a console gamer. I am a pc gamer and am tired of toned down games so they can be played on the aging consoles that are out now. Need next gen consoles so pc gaming can move up to were it's capable now.
