Dancing days are here again!

Whoa! Just listened (and still listening) to Dancing Days by Stone Temple Pilots. Scott Weiland can sure dive into a Zep song well enough to replace Robert Plant. The song made me dance (and I hate dancing), like Weiland in one of S.T.P's gigs. Anyone who's a Zep fan (or an S.T.P freak for that matter) should listen to this song, unless you're into watching tadpoles in jars!

Did S.T.P REALLY disband officially? If so, it's just another great grunge band biting the dust.

Homage to Grunge.

What is it with people nowadays? Huh? Rock music is no more what it used to be 16 years ago. Sure there are some good performers out there today (A Perfect Circle, anyone?) but the majority of the so-called "Rockers" are just cheap acts just to cash in money.

Being one of the most controversial music genre EVER, Grunge Rock was never accepted by a full-fledged set of "Ears." Where are the few bands that tried to (and did indeed) revolutionize the music world. Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Soundgarden, they are what I call REAL Rockers. The death of several well known people of that era may be the prime cause of the fall of Grunge, Andy Wood, followed by Kurt Cobain and finally Layne Staley. Even though they are dead physically they have left a mark that not even the toughest of the Corporal Cleaners can remove.

Even though some bands had a good enough excuse to disband I still don't understand why Soundgarden (the greatest of them all) also gave up. The members went their separate ways and their frontman; Chris Cornell has turned into the one thing that I was afraid he would one day be turned into, a Corporate Musician. No matter how much he or they (Audioslave) try to deny it they are still just a "Radio-Band". Where are his controversial lyrics, his genius compositions and his against-the-world-personality? Psshaw!

The image of TRUE rockers.

Pearl Jam, perhaps the sole survivor from that era, is the only band that have still stuck together (besides the constant shifting of a drummer). They have been together for over a decade and still going strong. Eddie Vedder still hasn't lost his mojo when it comes to writing good words and the band still does an exemplary job doing compositions. They are still "sticking it to the man". Pearl Jam, I salute thee!

That's all.
