@mav_destroyer Not playing the Devil's advocate or anything, but this gave me a chance to sample Origin and it's not really that bad a service.

I mean it's definitely no Steam and the content-delivery system could use some touching up, but it runs rather un-intrusively in the background and that's pretty much all that matters to me.
