@TheEveryMan I think that was a deliberate choice on the writer's part. I don't mind excessive swearing, it's all about how well it's executed.

It's really hard to expect such forthrightness from publishers or even some developers these days, glad to see Rockstar [and specifically the Houser Bros.] aren't like any of them.

@hobotech64 They didn't really botch the port for GTAIV, in fact it turned out to be better than the console versions as far as features are concerned. They just didn't bother optimizing it as well as they could...still plays great though!

@Venatorcruiser I had the bandana but still refrained from indulging in any random violence as the deaths were so darn convincing. I remember accidentally shooting a grovelling woman, who tricked me into being mugged by a couple of waiting bandits, in a state of blind rage (made me lose a horse-thief goddammit!) and feeling queasy the rest of the day.
