Hey im just wondering if the computer i just got 3 months ago is going to be capable of running some new games out on the pc at a reasonable level without jerkiness. The are games like crysis, shadowrun and age of conan.

My current computer is

Graphics Card : Powercolor X1950Pro Extreme 512MB Arctic Cooling Edition

Processor : AMD Athlon64 X2 4600+ Dual Core

Ram : GeiL 1GB Dual Channel Kit PC-5300 (2x512MB) DDR2

Hardrive : Seagate 320GB 16M Cache SATAII HDD

I know i wont be able to run most of the new games coming out on high but could anyone tell me if i would be able to run these games on medium without it being jerky, so it runs at smooth rate.

Thanx

hmm i hope the game doesnt dissapoint in the multiplayer asspect, and the story mode better not be to complicated to the point where u get lost because of different paths, cause that is not right in first person shooters

no need to fux for dx10, cause there is still 6 months till it really starts to be played by gamers in the mean while i suggest u enjoy current dx9 games that are brilliant like oblivion or CoH and save for a dx10 card later on because its better to have options with graphics card

my amd 4600+ works fine with my 2gigs of ddr2 ram and my x1950 powercolour 512mb card so i rekon it may last another till i have to upgrade my card but the cpu will be in there for atleast 1 - 2 more years
