Last year it had a decent amount of people. You won't find many in the outposts but in major towns such as Lions Arch and Droknar's Forge (I miss this city being the main hub :() it will be crowded. The game shifted from a co-op game to a singleplayer sort of thing a bit more due to the population decreasing. In the Nightfall campaign you get henchmen who can be customized with skills and a weapon which is another big reason why people play by themselves.

What you should do is get a friend and go through the campaign that way. If I hadn't beaten all of them like 15 times I would jump in and play with you :P.

Thanks a lot for the info. But is it also a good idea to play solo? None of my friends are interested.

Arena Net has said the servers will stay up as long as people play it.

So.. Are many people still playing it? I've been playing the trial but I couldn't help but notice that only few people still play it.. which is sad. I didn't know Guild Wars was this good. :(

I've been looking for some MMO's lately. And bumped into GW. Tried the free trial and loved it. My laptop can max it. :D The thing is.. Is it still active? Is it still worth buying the game? The game looks pretty fun but I'm afraid I'm too late..

Any good new pc games that doesnt require much pc specs? Ya know like Plants VS Zombies, Puzzle Quest 2, and Amnesia: Dark Descent. Please LIST all of the games you can think of. Here are my specs in case you guys need it.. core 2 duo 2.20 ati mobility 4330 512 MB windows 7 home premium 4 GB Please help. Thank you so much. PS: I know I can run many good new games such as Bulletstorm and Mafia II. But I run them at 800x600 resolution so I don't really have that much good of an experience. I like to play games smoothly like at 60 fps and get the full gaming experience at high resolution. my maximum resolution is 1366x768. So far the good game i play is recettear an item shop tale at 60 fps. too bad there's no option for widescreen though.
