If nintendo keeps selling as it usually does, then the ps3's future looks pretty dim. the success of the wii will determine how long the ps3 will last. more and more developers will support the wii, especially in japan and that is probably why sony has lost some of its exclusives to nintendo. If sony loses more of its exclusives to nintendo, its over.
Let's see, a new shenmue game, virtua cop and panzer dragoon game from sega. A new resident evil, marvel vs. capcom series, and something new from capcom. ridge racer from namco. silent hill from konami. there has to gta in some form or another for the wii too!
I would like to see a new starfox for the wii, but the series hasn't been doing too well. It needs a big boost to get the series going again. I would like to see a different direction for the series, a new story would help i think. Space is a vast frontier and i would like to see starfox and his team take on darth vader and the evil empire in the star wars universe. its possible. it would be a great way to bring in new fans to the series. just like having darth vader and yoda fight in the soul caliber series. its a crossover that would work.:D
The wii is overpowering and unstoppable, it has been like this for a loooooong time and it will continue to do so. The wii is slowly overpowering sony in japan and in the u.s., if nintendo continues to get exclusives away from sony or more the games that sony currently has, sony will perish, it can't afford to lose any more exclusives to nintendo and microsoft. the wii is changing the face of videogames as we know it. E3 will be an indication to what direction all three videogame companies will be in the future.
its been a while now that the wii has been selling like crazy and it doesn't seem to stop. while the wii has been selling like crazy, it still hasn't got the full third party support like it should have. only a few exclusives have been announced without much big fanfare, monster hunter 3, fatal frame and most recently tenchu 4.
The nintendo wii is number one and it still doesnt' get the best third party treatment is deserves. Usually when a system is selling well, mostly all of the big and popular franchises go to that system. It makes sense money wise$$$$$. But so far it hasn't happened. We have to wait at E3 to see what its store for all three systems. Sony cant' afford to lose any more exclusives to nintendo, because that would spell the end for the ps3.
the wii will continue to sell, all eyes are on nintendo right now, if more games jump from sony to nintendo, like monster hunter, fatal frame and tenchu, sony will be in big trouble. sony can't afford to lose exclusives to nintendo and microsoft. as long as the wii continues to dominate, its trouble for sony.
Gta IV would not work on the wii!!!! any game that appears on the 360 or ps3 first then if it were to be ported over to the wii would be inferior. if gta were to be on the wii, it should be a new or different type of game. i think gta would sell well on the wii if given the chance.8)
i wish the next luigi game would be a lot more of everything, more enemies, more secrets, and more, more!!!!! playing luigi is a nice change of pace than playing mario all the time! he deserves the spotlight!!!!:D
