any game where you cant host your own server is made so you cant run pirate server.

What these companys are doing is  treating customer like a criminal pirate and they're preventing cross playform play in the future.

any pc game where you cant enter a server ip address like call of duty matchmaking will never be capable of doing it.

battlefield 3 wont either because by the time it's playable on phones ea will have all the servers shut down and you cant host your own.

You wont be able to do that on modern shooters because the online set up is garbage.
