Hey guys,

I'm doing my dissertation on games on mobile touchscreen devices. For this questionnaire I'm specifically looking at Action RPGS. If you've ever played one on Android, iPhone or any other iDevice, hit the link and help me out.

It really only takes like a minute, mayyybe 2.

Please :D

Hey guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my aging pc and I'm wondering what brand I should go for that will yeild decent performance increases over my E4400.

I've been looking at AMD to save money but I've only managed to find negative things said about AMDs recent offerings. And Intel is a budget killer.

Are there any AMD processors that are much better than my e4400?

For intel I would simply go with a i5 2500k.

I intend to game and work on this new rig on 2 monitors (19" + 24"). (Games: LoL, D3, Tera online etc. Work: Unity, 3DS max, Photoshop etc.);

Not really looking for cutting edge performance. Just stable working edge performance.

Current rig: lasted 5 yrs with 1 GPU upgrade.

Win Xp 32bit, 3gb ram.
C2D E4400 @ 2.0ghz(stock)
Foxconn MB( 945g7md-8ks2h)
Vapor X Radeon 5770.
550w ps.

Is it possible to share files between these to OS' over a router? Desktop (xp) is wired to router and Laptop(win7) is wireless. I did get it working once by simply sharing XP folders but once i restarted my laptop they would no longer show up in the network tab.

Samsung R580. Basically Im hours away from going into the store and getting this laptop as its cheap yet effective and it can play games. But are there any other laptops that perform better in games than this laptop foraround the sameprice? (+/- £50).

Saving the file in 97 - 2003 mode is your best bet.

Being a student and all means a laptop is now required. With some ample down time between classes I'm looking for a laptop to whip out during those times and either finish off that essay or shoot stuff. I'm not a FPS or graphics whore (much) so I certainly wouldnt mind 20-30 fps @ medium/high settings.

Thing is I have no clue as to where to start searching and what brands do laptops like this.

Suggestions? Price range is up to 600+.

Previously I gamed on a 8800gt with a e4400 and 2gb ram and that seemed fine to me, My fps standards are not high. Im looking at the TM2T because I want a laptop and a graphics tablet. But pulling that combo out on the train to get some work done before reaching to class would be quite cumbersome. But I have a fair amount of down time between classes and thats when Id want to get some gaming done. My current gaming tastes are not that graphically intensive (Heroes of Newerth and WoW for example).

Are there any better ones on the market? The hp looks to be the jack of all trades but a master of none, which would be fine by me as i want as much bang for buck as possible. Are there any others on the market with a dedicated graphics option?

And can anyone vouch for the performance of the TM2T on games and photoshop/illustrator etc? Im not hoping for blazing fast performance but i sure hope its not sluggish.
