When I try to load a disk the screen goes black and the whole console seems to freeze and crash. The controlers sometimes disconect too. This also happens when I try a demo from the store. On one of the profiles games sometimes work. Once I got a demo to work when I pressed the PS button straight after clicking it but it then froze soon after. What is going on?? :S

Yep. YLOD just before christmas. Got it repaired for christmas day then broke again last week. Had to pay £70 for the first fix but now its on free warranty. When it breaks after the six month warranty I will probably just upgrade to a slim. I got my own 320GB HDD so i will go with the cheapest model.:)

I cant wait to get it after playing the demo. Nothing like ripping out a cyclopses eye or ripping off the Sun gods head and turning it into a torch!

That has happenned to mine twice and ended up YLODing both times. I also have the 60GB model but I got it fixed with console doctor (UK). They managed to fix it both times and I never lost a game or any data. :)

I am getting a laptop and i want a decent machine for gaming. Im not too bothered about a really good one as i do most gaming on my PS3. However i do want my laptop to be decent and have blu ray. Is this laptop any good?

I would go for Bioshock first.

The other two are just as good as each other, depends if u want to fight with a sword or a gun.
