Kingdom Hearts 1 has a dumb story, but it doesn't stop the game from being any fun. I loved the gameplay in KH, but the story blowed. i never played KH2, but iahve palyed Chain of Memories, and i never played any of the rest.

Gonna go out on an offensive limb here and say this is because american devs, just like the people they make games for obsessed with blowing/shooting stuff up. Survival Horror + High Powered explosives/mini-guns....hell yeah!!!!...or no.Kan0nF0dder

American directors are also usually pretty bad at making good scary movies. :P

However, Dead Space was decent for a scare game. What was System Shock 2 and the likes? Don't forget Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines and the haunted mansion. :P

U probabally never seen The Shining, A clockwork Orange, Silence of the lambs, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Thing, Texas Chainsaw Maasacre, Halloween( john Carpters Verison not the Rob Zombine Remake), Hannibal, paranormal activity, Alien, Firday the thirteenth, A nightmare on Elm, Street, Dracula, and Birds, and of course PYscho. All of those movies destroy those terrible Japanesse Horro flicks. The Ring was terrible and Stupid. THE Grudge Stupid and not scary at all. Second both of those movies were rated PG-13. Their both for people who can't handle thier horror flims. most good horror flims came out in North America.

I loved Indigo Prophecy's social system... if Heavy Rain is anything like that I'm pretty much sold. I'm hoping for less timed button mini games though, and a solid ending. I already know they're not doing a sci-fi ending, but that doesn't mean they won't ruin it w/ the loopy plot hole riddled crap, or just give a 1/2 assed ending.

i dont think there will be a 1/2 assed ending for heavy rain, because David Cage said that was the worst part about Indigo prophecy. And i agree with him, indigo's ending was terrible. However, Indigo Prophecy was fantastic other than that. And i cant wait for Heavy Rain. Theres so many differnet ways that u can play each scene.
