Agreed to most of the posts above as well. I don't think you punish murder with murder, that just brings our society as a whole down to the same level as these criminals. Additionally, I don't think it's doing justice to the victims that these criminals get the easy way out and don't need to actually 'pay' for their crimes. Many times, these people murder with the already mental preparation that if they get caught, they KNOW they will get the death penalty so why let them take the easy way out?

Lastly, did you know countries like Singapore and Indonesia issue the death penalty for peddling drugs? Now, I think that's a whole new level of low.

That's pretty normal, it's usually the uninformed and uneducated that have the most opinions. Smart people know when to stay silent while uneducated ones will argue for the sake of argument. Ultimately, their argument will go around in circles and it will never end so perhaps just walk away. You can't win all your battles, or rather, you shouldn't try to win all of them since the rewards aren't that great to begin with.

If a person is capable of acting on his/her impulses and cheating once, it can happen again. No way in hell I'll take that risk, it already hurt once why put yourself in such a position where your partner is able to do it a second time? I'd have a little respect for myself and walk away.
