@all you people predicting a price cut

I SERIOUSLY doubt its going to happen anytime soon. The reason Nintendo cut the price of the 3DS so soon was because they could afford to. They were making money off of every 3DS sold, and even when they cut im pretty sure they are making a bit on every system, or losing VERY little.

Correct me if im wrong, but the Vita is being sold at a loss already. Sony cant afford to cut the price and lose even more money. What theyre probably gong to do is launch a new ad campaign, bundle in some free games, and start cranking out titles as fast as they can, cause they REALLY need it.

I thought it only took 170 to manufactor? I mean then you gotta include packaging and labor costs and what not, and obviously packageing includes marketing fees, label designs, ect. Regardless i dont see the vita costing more than 190 if the 170 price was correct? i beleive someone gutted it and found the prices of each part abroad and it totaled to 170ish..

with that said, i bought a vita for 250 and i bought a psp for 250...i was happy with both purchases, unfortionality i dont play the vita because im in the money crunch and dont feel like spending money on games haha

i certainly hope its more powerful than the vita..i mean, it is retailing for serveral hundred dollars more...oh yeah and if you want extra memory you have to pay 100 bucks more (and here i thought the vita mem cards were bad).

im not bashing the ipad..i have one...its to say that these threads are stupid.

ipad is a tablet.

vita is a portable gaming device.

To all the haters (mostly ppl fanboy complaining or cubs haters), youre not looking at the implicit meaning and sensations of the commercial..its brilliantly crafted

honestly, if you wanna play some cheap games and you cant wait till augest, get a cheap psp on craigslist or gamestop..ive seen em in retail stores for 50 bucks. then you can pick up a ton of used games there as well...ive had a lot of fun with my psp. Im not a fan of the FF series, but truthfully, crisis core is by far one of my favorite games.

Hey everyone...just picked up my wifi vita and a 16g mem stick (the gamestop by me was offering it for like 300 bucks, so i went with that overt the 3g model with 8g stick). and first off, im loving it. Uncharted it great..unit 13 demo is interesting. and the AR games are fun. What really to me is cool though is the NEAR app. I dont live in a metro area at all, and i used near and found 13 people, then an hour later 20 people! people are loving this vita within 3.2 miles of my house! whats cool though is i noticed uncharted makes use of the NEAR services by allowing you to trade stuff with surrounding people. I think thats really neat (i dont have to worry about people not having uncharted by 14people by me have it haha). What do you guys think of the service?

Its still 10% off...also you save the time, effort, gas money, ect. from going to the store/mall to buy the physical game..
