I've Seen Red Dead Redemption from $5.00 - $7.50 (US) on the MS Digital store... so unless you just MUST have it right now digital ... I think we can get it cheaper. $10 is good!!! But if you like me and just want it digitally for sh*ts and giggles... then I think you can hold out for some "black friday" sale.
@xantufrog: Do you mean the OS and not the Play Anywhere games? If so I thought I read somewhere Microsoft was going to knock a few bucks off soon because of the Creators Edition Update...I can't find where I saw it...sorry for not having a link. But I was at Best Buy a yesterday and they had Windows 10 with 10% off...maybe that was the "discount"...but I thought the discount was going to be more significant than that. :/
these sales are not that overwhelmingly good for the games...but the Apps and Movies are pretty good. I think over Christmas sale I got 10 cent rental for a few titles....wasn't a bad deal. Hope that is included for this sale.
@d-man: I have to agree. And I don't want someone to put the "you gave enough to comment" bullsh*t. I mean, I saw this headline in a news feed of actual NEWS today. Trump, John Glenn, The victims of that warehouse fire, and Pew Die Pie deleting his account. I saw this and was like "...The hell is this doing in my news section?"
@Mr_Mark_Legion: I don't think so. Sure they are bragging a bit, but seeing how we still don't have a real number from there. I think this type of article is for news media... I think Microsoft isn't going to thump their collective chests too much because they know they are in a period where people are waiting on the more powerful PS4 Pro. And I am sure they are aware of the very real possibility they could be lapped when the PS4 Pro numbers are compared. I am happy for them. Competition is good. And I like Microsoft playing the underdog -- we have benefited greatly from that :)
Very accurate review. I think fans would not have been angry if this game had less filler. This game had so much potential, but they fell into the trap of doing what other games do. Collectables are fine, but why does the boss (you) have to kill other underbosses -- you should just go out to kill the other boss, as just one example -- this game could have been great. But it is yet another cookie cutter "open world" game.
@RJS86: No, I think this is it for PS. I don't think they will release another enhanced PS4. You may see a refresh in the PSPro-"Slim". But I don't think they will make another machine (sony nor MS after the Scorpio). Sony has made it clear, they want that Pokemon Go money in mobile. And they are betting a lot in VR. The PSPro is only here to sell Sony 4K TVs.
