Lolz, as much as I've always loved to game, it's not really an art. It was always a business. Writing is an art. Photography is an art. Akido is an art. Fencing is an art. Anime is an art. :p
Gaming is more a business, though.

Game design requires concept art, level designing, art styles, computer graphics, photograpy taken to be used as refrences, voice acting, and allot more different things. there are games that are/were made because the dev.s had a dream, not because they wanted a quick buck.
uhhh... they're coming to third party controllers.. meaning not many games will utilise the technology since hardly anyone will have them since they arent actual sony controllers. not only that, but if people do buy them sony misses out on cash. because accessories are where the companys make their real profit. less money to sony is not going to help the ps3 at all.
i have friends that are really good. also i can host so if i wanted to i could get good aswell. but the problem is i find the game so BORING. naruto wars is more fun to me if i want that play style. its faster paced. i just find Dota so boring. its not even that hard.. just have to get the hang of it. and i agree, its gotten out of hand. TOO MANY PEOPLE hosting dota constantly. what we need is a Footies update. ^^
