They're cool. I don't know as much about them as I should probably. I have a Macbook Pro from a few years ago and I like it. My friend helped me with getting a Windows desktop. It's ok, it's not ultra high end or anything but it works.
I wonder if we are going to see a real artificial intelligence this century. Experts petitioned, earlier this year, to keep AI on the side of humanity. It is amazing to think how much human civilization has advanced over the past two hundred years.
At the pace of technology, it wouldn't surprise me if we see AI sometime then.

@nikkycat: I suggest you donate them if you are vehemently opposed to using them, anymore. At least someone else can benefit from them.
I still have them. Never know when I need a brush up. (Lord knows I do. )
I've used Khan Academy for help actually, very helpful.
I read in an AMA (Ask Me Anything) by Bill Gates that he uses it for review. It is definitely an awesome resource and the development team is paid well (Source: Glassdoor).
