@n64dd: I currently do have an S7, not the Note, just the regular S7 from March. I can get warm, but no fires yet at least. This problem is most likely limited to just the early Note 7's. Problem for Samsung, like you said, is trust. If it were a smaller issue, it would be easy to brush aside. If they have to fight a reputation of phones catching on fire, even if that's not 100% accurate for their whole line up, it's going to be tough to fight for a while.

I think this whole thing was a brilliant move from Samsung. While Apple is taking away the headphone jack, Samsung gives you FIRE.

Whats more awesome then that?

Sorry to hear about the car, but your ok at least, and the car can be fixed or replaced always. : ) I've been doing some changes myself, may be moving out with some friends to rent a place, looking at schools again. Finally accepting reality lol.

@Heroldp813: Just to add an extra final point, from what I learned, AMD is planning to launch a new processor line the end of this year that may finally make them competitive again with Intel maybe. So your fine, but if you choose to upgrade at some point, wait to see what this will be like before jumping to the next Intel.
