It's just a really good shooter, i just bought an xbox but i don't think ill be picking it up because i am more about the single player, which call of duty has an amazing single player and multiplayer. I do agree though halo does not suck i just don't think it is as great as everyone makes it out to be, somewhat like grand theft auto even though it was a really good game its just not the best.
Just wondering is using HDMI that big of a difference compared to the hi def component cables? I really don't want to dish out $$$ for HDMI cables if it really won't make that big of a difference.
It just seems like everyone expects every game that looks cool 9.5 and above. If you are so pissed at the reviews then stop listening to them, personally I go by the reviews of gamespot, gamespot users, and ign combined. I plan on getting mass effect and an 8.5 is a really good score and it looks like a fun game, and i highly doubt it will deserve the 9.5 that Final Fantasy 7 got which was just phenominal for its time. I played assasins creed and it was a really good game, but got very repetitive and tedious after like 1 hour of playing it. There really isn't much replay value to it so i personally don't think it deserved a 9 other than its graphics and story.

LOL this is so true, its just a shame that people actually think that the wii's graphics are better than 360. I guess we can conclude that either they never played a 360 or are just biased against it. I own a wii and do not own a 360 yet i have to admit the wii's graphics are horrible when compared to the 360. The worst graphic 360 game looks twice as nice as the best graphic wii game.
They are both really good games however i felt that X was just more epic and had a better replay value. It also depends what u like if you want the traditional RPG Final Fantasy style X is what you want but if you think you will enjoy the more action based RPG then you should definately check out 12. X's storyline was just phenominal while 12 seemed to be lacking slightly but thats just my opinion. I still loved 12 though, but X is probably my favorite game of all time. If I were you I would buy X beat it then buy XII and beat that :D.
my question is why do you want a ps3 badly if u don't even know whats good for it lol. The Metal Gear and Final Fantasy exclusives are pretty much its top games however it does have a few other good exclusives(haze, littlebigplanet, etc). If you aren't interested in either of those then it may not be worth getting unless you are really into blu ray movies.
Very annoying, and its not just in nintendo forums but ps and xbox forums too. I hope they do realize gamespot does post the top rated games and reviews on the games. If you just clicked under the wii tab it shows u games coming soon and games already out... think for yourself.
