I'm probably about 10+ hours in. I'm still at the church and have Infirmory, Bunkhouse and Advanced Workshop built. I've got 4 Outposts collecting things. 2 construction materials, 1 food and 1 ammo.

1 - On these outposts, Is this a safehaven for followers to grab things? Or, am I the one who has to constantly grab supplies from these areas?

2 - Spending time doing missions and gathering supplies leaves little time to take care of Hordes and Infestations. Now I'm running into a problem with too many and the church is getting swarmed. Any advice on the best way to take care of Hordes and Infestations? You barely have enough supplies and taking care of these consumes many suppliles. Plus the fact that basically only 1 person can take care of each one. By the time they take out a horde, their so fatigued that they need to rest. I've got about 5 playable characters now, but not enough supplies to equip all of them to tackle a horde.

3 - Is my issue location? I've found the house in the middle of the first town that I can move to. Will this help with fortification? I've avoided this since it's in the middle of town and I'm guessing more vulnerable to hordes swarming it.

Yes. Starts out with that entry. Then Main Hall. After that you get 3 options per side N, E, W. Once you pick one, and start building, that's it for that side of the house. There is an option on the main workbench to start over. But I've never tried that.

Yeah, I'm grinding away at this one. I'm at lvl 60 now. Trying to use everything, bumping their skills. It's definitely a grind.

Whatever you do.... If you hire someone to take care of your house. DO NOT kill them!!! I had a bug where I hired someone to follow me. Took them to one of my houses. Asked them to watch it. The dialog would never come up to have them do things for the house. So I killed them thinking I could just bring someone else. Yeah, no... that didn't work either, so that house is just sitting vacant... but it doesn't matter much, since I got all the achievements for that dlc.

I'm at about 210hrs now. I'd disagree that about it getting boring. I'm not bored at all with it. I'm going after as many achievements as I can get and avoiding the main quest line. The last city I had to explore was Marakarth and I've only recently gone into there and explored the last part of the map in the Southwest. I still have tons of quests in my list with a ton more I know that are still coming. I'm probably halfway through the Thieves Guild quests. I've almost got the achievement for Deadric artifacts. I could capture Windhelm at any moment, when I decide to meet up there to sack the city.

For me, it's fun to just explore around, doing whichever quest I feel like. I try to build up quests in a particular area, then tackle about 4-5 of them at once in that area. Also, I'm making a strong effort to level up to 81. It's a grind, but makes it interesting trying to use all the tools availible to me. I'm halfway into level 60 right now.

I don't have high skill level on either one, but I have developed part of their tree's. Alchemy (to me) was more necessary in the beginning of the game. Now that I'm a long ways in, it's really not necessary anymore, now that my character is built up and I have strong armor and weapons. Enchanting it ok, but again, once you build up smithing and can make really strong weapons, enchanting is nice, but not necessary.

This may change on higher difficulty settings though. I'm not playing on the hardest settings. I'm just playing on normal.

I believe it's 80 or 81. I'm currently at level 56 and still leveling up.

This game is probably too large. I love this game, but OMG.... I've been playing this game ever since it came out, on and off. I'm around 150 hours into the game. I just completed the Staff of Magnus quests gaining that achievement. I have not even jointed the Imperials or Stormcloaks yet. I have not done Diplomatic Immunity yet. I have made it to level 51, 100'd my smithing so I can make Dragon Armor. I have not even explored the entire map yet. I've uncovered all of the right side of the map (east of Windhelm) and all of the southern region around Falkreth. I've only dabbled a little in the Solidtude area, but not actually gone into that city yet. I still haven't gotten the 20 sidequests achievement yet.

This game is a lot of fun, but I see no end in sight yet. I'm attempting to clear every area based on a quest and not just rumbling into an area simply to clear it. I also try to walk most places to make it a deeper experience, however I do fast move places, when I get sick of walking, if I'm' trying to clear out a quest fast. The only DLC I have is the Hearthstone and have only built one of the houses so far.

What's the most hours people have put into this game? Like I said before, I'm at 150 and have been playing this game a year and a half and see no end of the game for a long time yet.

Just curious your experiences.
