I think we should not have leveling up ememies for a couple of good reasons.
1.If we did me and mgaton could not level up to become power houses.
2.You could still get a challening game by not leveling up so high.
ITS A WIN, WIN situtaion.
I guess it would get annoying after a while, but which is more annoying? Fighting a level 1 monster killing it in one hit and more of the same type come or fighting something around your own level that would actually take some skill to beat? pangai_noon
As you progress through any Final Fatasy game enemies get harder. The have a Standard level during that point in time. As you progress through the game you have to level up a certain amount of times because it is impossible not to. So through out the game all ememies will present a challenge. After that point though if you decide to level up more then you need to on your own a cord. So if you want to play at a low level through out a game to give you a challenge then do that, but if you level up to much and it gets easier its your fault because it was your fault. If you want to be a power house then level up and beat every one up in a couple of hits, if you dont and want more of a challenge stay a lower level.
When enemies level up to it takes a way the need to level up more because it wont effect anything to a great extent. The challenge stays the same.
For a challenge, I played FFX and it was too easy once you got Tidus to max strength with a fully powered up Caladbolg. All I ended up hitting was 99,999. pangai_noon
Well, getting maxed out is an option, so if you wanted the game to be more difficult then dont max out.
[QUOTE="nobleknightkw88"][QUOTE="pangai_noon"]I never played FF8 or FFT, but there is bound to be something that can kill you in one hit if you don't level up. Also the creatures/people/bosses are bound to level up which would mean you have to level up as well. mgatson
I am sure you played Final Fantasy 10, and you were facing a boss that you were having trouble in. You could level up a few levels and stand a better chance of beating him.
But if the ememies leveled up too you would be screwed because if you got X amount of levels , the boss also gets a X amount of levels. So he is just as strong after you leveled as before you did. Which in turn defeats the purpose of leveling up. So why level up at all if you know it is not really going to help.
right and just to clarify, nobleknight is not suggesting that with that crappy leveling system you don't level up at all, of course you could never beat it being lvl 1 or whatever, but there's no real point to take the time maxing out your characters, cause the competition stays pretty close to youThanks, thats it in a nutshell.
