[QUOTE="nolson"][QUOTE="RR360DD"]LOL at year head start plus cheaper price and only up 3 million. At least when ps2 had a head start they won by what? 120 million. Yeah... You just owned yourself ...When you're that far ahead in one race and the sure fire odds-on favorite in the next and you come up limping like the ps3 then there are few options but to take it out behind the barn and mercy kill it lol sure buddy. Whatever makes you feel better.Sony weren't competing against the xbox that first gen, so obviously they'd win. Last gen, they had a year headstart (you cows sure do love that argument this gen) and a huge advantage with the playstation brand. This gen, theyve managed to fuk all that up and lost the majority of their marketshare to microsoft and nintendo
Microsoft is on the rise, next gen will be even more successful for them than this gen. Sony on the other hand ... LOL

Credit where credit is due, the PS2 was awesome.
The Eye Toy was a flop, it never recieved much support. Kinect is better.
The PSP was hyped as a DS killer with its awesome graphics and console-like experience. Got destroyed by the DS.
The PS3's launch was a complete joke. Is still in last place, a huge nose dive from the PS2s 1st place. 360 is beating it in sales and overall library.
The Move was a complete flop. No support. Hardly sold. Kinect and Wii destroy it.
The Vita is another huge flop. Its sales are embarrassing. The 3DS will destroy it.
I can't wait to see how the PS4 turns out. I'm wondering what idiotic thing Sony will do this time to dig their grave even deeper.
Sucks to be a cow.

so all the years after the ps2 succeded and roflstomped the xbox don't count?
and by your logic xbox 360 hasn't won anything since they entered the console business
fanboy logic at it's best, is there a contract or something that when you buy a console you must become a fuking idiot?

You start by saying they haven't achieved any success then go on to say they achieved massive success with the ps2. Failed thread.
It's not milkage because the FRANCHISE doesn't release every single year like COD does. It might be on the verge of milking considering all the DLC and what not but no where near COD milkage with the yearly releases.Ehh killstreaks are in MOH. Guess you haven't played MOH
Here is my BF3 account
To the post above me. lol talk about defending a game haha at least I can admit Cod is milkage but why can't you BF fans do the same? And for those points you are making excuses for the game, all the BF fans talk about how bad Cod is, but now Dice has started copying them it's fine right? EA's strategy is to mimic the competition and hopeful the fans will migrate, which didn't work last when they trashed Cod but ended up backing up on their statements.

[QUOTE="WTA2k5"]Hey a different name, same engine and less features equals a brand spanking new game. You keep saying "less features". But really. The multiplayer in BF is about the big picture large scale warfare, where as MOH games are about infantry based warfare. The fact remains MOH and BF have nothing in common other than they are both published by EA. COD releases every single year with hardly any changes. The two are not comparable I'm sorry no matter how hard you are trying.Didn't they say a little while ago that they intended to swap out Battlefield and Medal of Honor each year? Quite a convenient way to dodge claims of franchise fatigue...

They were right. Battlefield has become the new CoD.shogundukHow so? COD releases every year. This would be 2 years between BF games. BTW, a lot of games release on 2 year dev cycles, uncharted 2007, uncharted 2, 2009, uncharted 3, 2011 just as an example. Yet, no one calls them the new 'COD'. COD is the same franchise every single year even though it has 2 year dev cycle it still releases every year.
