They said it is because this year, e3 and gamescom are only 6 weeks apart. So they are going to Paris game show instead in October. Simple as that folks. Continue on with the circle jerk though.
dude people were on board with family share. People just weren't on board with the always online console and 24hour checkin. family share was scrapped because it required those other hated features. i've never seen one person hating on what family share was going to be.
Holy revisionist history guys. You couldn't be more wrong. Look at the post I put above. Sony reveal feb 2013 before xbox one was ever announced they talked about shareplay. And honestly shareplay and the family share plan are not really that similar. Family Share was more about letting people buy a game once and have it be available to all the users in a household. Share play lets anyone in the world either watch, take over, or play co-op with a friend. There are some nice perks with family share that unfortunately never came out but please dont spew BS about how it was originally Microsofts idea for shareplay because it is just plain wrong and honestly they aren't really even comparable as far as features go.

You stated Microsoft offered a similar service and got slated for it. Thats wrong. They got slated for always online/24 hour check in console and rightfully so. People werent mad about the family share plan but they were mad about what was required in order to obtain the family share plan

Sony isn't getting any credit or praise for Shareplay because it's Microsoft's idea LOL.
it was one of the features on XB1's initial system structure plan that people were "supposedly" so upset and offended about. Microsoft then restructured things to what people said they wanted, and Sony stole the idea.
now we have people trying to drum up praise for Sony after damning MS for trying to implement their initial Family Share plan lol. funny how that works.
Except shareplay was first revealed when the ps4 was announced in the February 2013 event before Xbox one was even revealed. Nice try though.

you definitely have a point here. can't be disputed at all. Sony announced their plan first. doesn't matter whether MS announced their plan at E3 or not...Sony put theirs out there first. i didn't realize that. i was wrong here.
but i do feel Family Share had more promise than what Sony is offering. either way though, i was wrong *shrugs*

Using compressed youtube videos lol. Seeing the games in person I can tell you it is a night and day difference from last gen. You really cannot tell based on internet videos. Source: I have a ps4
Also If you want to see a good leap go look at resistance fall of man or at perfect dark zero and look at launch ps4 games. HUGE difference. Games will only continue to look better on these consoles as well.
