I would like to put together my first computer for my college graduation gift. I have a pretty good knowledge of how to put it together but would like you guys to help me maximize my money so if you wouldn't mind specing one out for me from new egg or something with a cool case. The budget is no more than 1000 US dollars not including the monitor. This needs to include a copy of windows 8 but leave room in the price for keyboard and mouse (you don't have to pick one out for me just leave room in the build to include those for under 1000. Thanks for any help!
Theres really not that many cutscenes in uncharted. Not sure why so many people say this. At least not compared to MGS.
Why were the DLC packs still a gig or more in size if we had already downloaded all relevant data in the patch before the dlc went live. From the way I understand it they have to force people to download part of the data because look at this way. Say player A is using a new weapon from the DLC on an old map server. Player B doesn't have the new pack so how would player B see player A's new weapon if he hadn't downloaded any new data that was part of the pack. From my understanding the player without the pack can pick up and use that new weapon that is laying on the ground but they cannot equip it in their loadout because they did not buy the pack. This is why I think everyone has to download at least a portion of the packs.-Graphics were way inferior to the PC version which they showed off. The graphics were pretty poor on consoles IMO. DICE and EA tricked a lot of people with those trailers they showed of the PC version, and then the console version came out and looked bad.
-32 player battles on huge maps = boring and no action.Â
-Lots of patches meant they screwed up with the original game. Sorry, but I want a game that works decently when I buy it.... not 6 months later.Â
-Snipers were helpless against Vehicles. No C4, no Mines, nothing.Â
-Forced downloads of DLC, even if you didnt buy them. For people with bandwidth caps, this is absolute **** as it used up bandwidth when we never even bought the DLC.Â
-Campaign is the epitome of generic. Nothing interesting at all in the campaign.Â
-Battlefield: Bad Company 2 was a better game on consoles.Â
-Shooting mechanics are still inferior to COD. Even Far Cry 3 has better shooting mechanics.Â
-The entire game seemed to have a teal tint to it.Â
-Destruction was not very impressive at all. Actually seemed like a step back from BFBC2.

I'm a PlayStation fanboy... but even I have to admit Battlefield 3 was garbage on consoles. People hyped it up as the "COD Killer" and EA put a massive marketing campaign behind it. Unfortunately the game itself was trash on consoles.Â

While I agree with you. It's worth noting that physical media isnt transferring to ps4 either (ps3 blu rays wont work)...so they are both in the same boat. That's good! Why would anyone buy from the PSN store when all digital downloads won't even transfer to the PS4. It proves to me that buying digitally is pointless. I prefer physical media.

I play a good bit away from my tv and need an extension for my 3mm cable. I do have an extender the problem is when i plug it in no one can hear me. It loses my voice when it goes throught th extension into the mixamp. Is there a cable extender out there that will extend the length without losing the mic capability?
