i didn't even know anybody liked the m16 but me lol. i play the pc version and hardly anybody at all uses that gun. i think its easy to kill people with it from a distance but up close you almost HAVE to hit somebody with the first burst to kill them if they have an automatic weapon. thats where the skill comes in.

they just make it subscriber only because they want people to feel like its something that they NEED to have right now, so they have you signup and pay the yearly fee or w/e from fileplanet. i know i fell for that crap when the bf2142 beta came out but now i'm glad i paid its only like $40 a year.
i like sniping in far cry in single player at least, i never could really get into a multiplayer game. i also like sniping in cs source but you can hardly call that sniping anyway.
I'm not sure why but for some reason after installing the Vista RC1 on my PC I'm suddenly unable to play 2142. For some reason I'll get all the way into the actual match but after that I'm kicked within 10 seconds of getting the level to load. I get a Punkbuster message with no descriptor. Any help? you could try running it and all your other xp designed programs in compatibility mode for windows xp service pack 2 and then run everything as an administrator. its all in the properties tab when you right click an icon.
chances are the release will get pushed back. games that big usually have more like..previews, developer interviews, demos, betas, and that kinda stuff out within a month of release.

lol the "ghetto" people and black people in the theatre i was in last nite made some parts so much better. like when mary j kissed that one dude..dont know his name..goblin jr lol the guy behind me was like " yo wait til ma man find out wait til ma man find out" in reference to peter finding out about them two kissing. and the part where peter and goblin jr were in the cafe talking about how mary j wants him back and not peter and when peter walked out and jr turned around to look at him through the window and winked the guys behind me were like "haha yo **** you better get back in there and handle yo business ****"
btw thats the first movie i've been to in awhile where the room was literally full, people were just standing by the entry-ways watching the movie because every single row was filled with maybe 1 or 2 seats empy every 4 or 5 rows. 3 showings within half an hour intervals of each other were sold out too. good movie though.
Yeah, I'm running Vista. Maybe that's what's causing it? I wonder if anyone else with Vista is having performance issues? Because, I agree with you folks that it can't be the engine itself because I can run this thing and get better performance on my GeForce 5200 FX.G4mbl3

right click icon of game > properties > compatibility > check box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select windows xp serivice pack 2 > check the box that says "run this program as an administrator > apply - ok
that fixed my issue with getting kicked by punkbuster from every game, maybe that'll help with framerates too. but if you've already done that then i dunno.
GTA 4... I loved 1,2,3,vc and this should be amazing running on the hl2 engine.rwgober92

you havn't heard about it because its not true. gta4 is using its own graphics engine that they developed for the game 'Rockstar presents: table tennis" on x360. looks way better than source engine too.
