I am worried for the future of gaming,I like physical discs and it seems they're trying to force digital to save on manufacturing costs. Shadow Warrior 2 on ps4 got a limited physical release and I wasnt quick eniough so now my only option is to download,which I only do if theres no other option. A bit off topic I know.

@GabrielX-X: An android tv box is another option,not as funky as the pi but super easy to set up with google play.

@wr3ckloose_: Shhhhhhh! Or the authorities will think all Gamespot users are illegal downloading criminals. ROMs are great though,especially when Nintendos ports of old games on their new systems are overpriced and have awful input lag. Nintendo have done great things for the video game industry in the past but now they are a terrible,terrible company. So out of touch with their fan base its not even funny. Mind you so are Sony!

@superklyph: Actually I said it can PLAY thousands. But I will say I doubt a tear gas grenade will come crashing through my living room window followed by a SWAT team.

@JustPlainLucas: Yeah very true,they are more for collectors. But i dare say emulators are more versatile with save states,filters etc.

I really don't understand how anybody would want one of these aside from collection purposes. I have an android tv box which i use as a retro gaming hub. It can play 1000s of games with the emulators from google playstore for a fraction of the price.

Ive got high hopes for this game and I cant see Mr Negative being the main villain,not even for a first game of the series. I imagine Vulture would be in a future game though as I bet theyll introduce more intense web in the air mechanics for a sequel,just a thought though.

I very much doubt well see any symbiotes in this game,would be awesome though.

Im always in two minds about dlc,sometimes it feels like the main games incomplete when its announced even before release,maybe wait a year or so then release a massive dlc pack for it. Cant say ive ever noticed Insomniac going over the top with DLC though.

I think doing smaller jobs for money for webs is a bit too rpg like though for this game,just my opinion mind. I would love to see loads of villains but I doubt there will be that many as Insomniac confirmed this will hopefully be the start of a series.

The hero and menace system was interesting in the Spiderman 2 movie game but was just executed poorly. Also there was an annoying cut scene every time you swung by some criminals and another when you finished,it just took you out of the action.
