I wouldn't exactly call Viewtiful Joe or Splinter Cell 3 unpopular compared to some other games.
really....I kinda liked it better than the wind waker by a little bit.
Keep in mind I loved the art and the story was epic.....butI just can't forgive the easy dungeons and triforce fetch quest.

Yeah, the fetch quest at the end really wasn't so fun. Sailing got too tedious after a while; the magic was lost somewhere between Forest Haven and Outset.
so the more a game sells, the better it is? Then I guess Metroid Prime is the worst game ever created. btw, don't even compare Brawl to Halo 3 when it comes to sales.Warp_2567
The point of this thread is sales and sales alone. I don't know where you got "a game isn't good if it doesn't sell well."
[QUOTE="norfair_dweller"]If Gran Turismo comes out this year, maybe.Mandingo101
gran turismo has the ability to outsell both games depending on when it comes and how big the install base is. look at the sales of past GT games, they are simply astounding
Indeed. Gran Turismo sold nearly twice as much as Melee.
Story, art-**** originality and plain fun-factor. I have both, and I can safely say that I got more enjoyment out of Okami. It was extremely compelling to find all of the brush techniques, and I wasn't dissapointed by any of them (my personal favorite is either the gust one or the time-stopping one). The normal fights got boring after I was 35 hours in or so, but they actually did serve a purpose in the game (making money) so it worked out. Also, the game went at a much faster pace than Zelda. I'm sorry, but the first two hours of so of Zelda comprise mainly of sheer boredom. Clover did a much better job of making players interested from the get-go. These and a lot of other reasons are why Okami toppled Twilight Princess for me, and IMO it deserved the GoTY awar far, far more than Gears of War. And if that isn't enough for y'all, Okami scored AAA here as opposed to Zelda's AA (which I believe should have been AAA, but maybe not as it wasn't as good as Okami and I agree with its score). And yes, I have the "definite" (Wii) version of Twilight Princess, so don't bother telling me how I should be playing the game.Shinobishyguy
I agree with most of that, but then again I found Twilight Princess to be the worst Zelda. I liked Wind Waker a bit more than Okami, but Okami came close.
woah....worst zelda?
I'm sorry but what? You need to play the adventure of Link for the NES

[QUOTE="norfair_dweller"]I think some hints may be needed, subrosian.subrosian
It was released on the Dreamcast, and a "sequel" later released on the Gamecube. On the Gamecube a glitch in the game allowed homebrew development on the system, prior to the released of GCN modchips.
