and the PS3....and soon to be PS4,,,,,and mobbile devices....So....Minecraft isn't exclusive. How can you compare the two? He didn't sell out to one company for 2 billion dollars.
Yeah, "Cloud Gaming" gave Titanfall on X1 its graphics like they like to say....yeah....It totally wasn't their hardware or anything.
Cloud Gaming was so amazing that GTA's Online was complete shit its first month due to cloud servers and they said "Well, all MMO's havea crazy launch" Even though GTA Online isn't an MMO and can only have 15 people per server....
You do know Sony sells things other then Consoles.....right?
You do know Sony pretty much created CDs in general....right?
You do know they sell TVs? they also have movie studios and sound studios....Right?
You do know that Sony have been one of the biggest Electronic and Entertainment Companies since the 1970s and have a vast amount of money to the point they dont have to worry about going bankrupt....right?
Dont get me wrong, im severly pissed about this, I pledged 600 bucks of my hard earned money. But....No backers were offered stock or stake in the company along with their pledge. If that was the case, There would be a major shit storm and I would be the first person calling a lawyer.
All I learned from this. Is to never back any project on Kickstarter ever again. I can no longer trust the people that use it so they can do shit like this. We sadly have to chalk this up as a loss and just not buy the product whenever they release it. At this point, we can only damage them but not opening up our wallets for them.
Even though I was one of the backers, We donated strictly to help them create the technology. Once they created it, they can pretty much do whatever the hell the want with it, as long as we get compensated for what we contributed to....which was the actual creation of the Oculus Rift. If you were also promised stock in the company then you would have a solid reason and lawsuit...but sadly, They didn't offer anybody stock.
Just the fact that you acknowledged Facebook and them selling off everything you do on their website to other companies for ad placement, geared toward you and hopefully breaking that will and getting to buy their newest product everytime and you still defend this in someway just shows me I should just skip the Oculus Rift altogether and just see what Sony and Microsoft has to offer. Surely it has nothing to do with the fact that Facebook also has a grasp on Gamespot. (You can log in on Gamespot using your Facebook and can comment on whatever you like, which in turn gives Gamespot Ad Revenue from Facebook and facebook gets Ad Revenue from Gamespot)
I would love to see Gamespot do a counter article about this, which interviews the people who funded this(like I did) and see how they really feel....instead of just grabbing random quotes from the kickstarter page to slap in a poorly written article that was used to mainly direct people to this clusterfuck you call an article.
I want to see Gamespot actually bring those people who funded this into a room and interview them.
Sadly they wont...seeing how Facebook has their small grasp on Gamespot.....
I'm not American ;-) Hence why I'm not a fat slob, abusing welfare, while shopping at Walmart with the other fatties and bitching about how shitty and poorly ran my country is, even though they have it better then 99% of the world.
