Even if console somehow ceased to exist. devs will want to cater to those millions of people who play sims3, WoW, LoL and farmsville etc...Not YOU.
P.S. Kickstarter produce little results, crytek is making games for consoles and steam feeds on the dumb impulse buyers with steam sales (I guess you are okay with that).
P.S.2 With piracy and second hand market on consoles, games still sold a lot more on the console version, you and whoever included in that small minority of "we" can shaft anything you want, it means nothing.
Oh you laughable fool. I never claimed to have any data on the market. I am just going to point out two things.
1) console is the leading platform for the majority of the AAA games.
2) rockstar is a company, and they ultimately strives for profit.
You and the rest of the self branded PC gamers here dwell on these numbers on kickstarter funds and the number of steam user accounts and act like as if rockstar is making a bad business decision. For rockstar to make this move, either they are stupid or they don't see releasing the game on PC at launch as their best option.

Please, the result is pretty evident. Ignorant internet dwellers who don't not have hands on any relevant statistics on the market need to stop pretending that they are the expert and think that they know better than the people who care about themselves the most.
