@expeditopaz2008 My guess is that it will use Steamworks. Bethesda has a habit of using Steamworks for the games they publish. Not that I complain. Besides, that's a (currently) 100% sure way for them to be sure that their game can't be cracked before released.
@CTU22 @Slagar Just wanted to chip in and say that if you don't want to buy gems for real money to increase your inventory space you can just buy gems for in-game gold. Last time I checked you got about 380 gems for 1 gold, which is almost enough to get an additional bag slot.
@UndertheArchway It's working very well, with only a few smaller issues currently present. Mail, trading post etc. are all working fine. ArenaNet says there are some other issues with guilds for example, but I have yet to experience any. My guess is that not all guilds/users are experiencing all problems.Even with the early issues, I've been having a lot of fun, both with my friends and random people I meet in-game. If you're thinking of getting the game, I recommend doing so now as it is working great.
@Sevont Sure, you buy something new every year, and that's fine of course. However, that doesn't meant that someone "has" to in order to "keep up".A lot of console gamers seem to think that they have to upgrade their computer every year, that's just not the case. ESPECIALLY not if you can go for "console graphics". Then I'd say every 5-6 years. Obviously depending on what you get the first time.
@Sevont Please don't scare people from getting into PC gaming. There's no reason, whatsoever to upgrade any component once a year, or once every two years. Or three. Maybe, and just maybe every four years. Not even that if you don't care about "max on graphic settings".
