@bloody-hell That doesn't change the fact that if you would have bought it on launch day (or if you're lucky, even weeks after launch) or pre-ordered it, you'd get the whole experience.
With Sleeping Dogs you won't, even if you pre-order since they're offering different exclusive missions depending on where you purchase the game.
@acelogan1989 @Armyboy5 At least Metro gave us the whole experience if you pre-ordered it. This game doesn't as it has different exclusive missions depending on where you buy it.
I remember Microsoft basically saying "Sony is stupid because they didn't show their console. When we're unveiling our next-gen console, we'll let you see how it actually looks".
@everson_rm @nu1mlock @Arthas045 Exactly - a software update. New graphic card drivers are still software updates. Firmware updates are also software updates as it updates the software.
I do understand what you mean, but it's still software updates.
Edit: By the way, Nvidia released a new software update (new drivers) which can increase performance of Metro: Last Light with up to 10%.
@everson_rm @Arthas045 That's funny... Hardware update... :P Like buying new hardware? Or did you actually mean software update, like graphic drivers or game patches? :P
If you're using an AMD card, make sure you disable "Advanced PhysX" in the options. According to an official Deep Silver employee on the Steam forums, this helps alot for AMD GPU users.
@SkamArtist A couple of my friends are that kind of pirates. If they can't pirate it, they will never purchase it. Ever. Not even if it went up on Humble Bundle for 0.01$.
That's why I'm "forced" to purchase all games I want to play with my friends for them. If I wouldn't, then I would never be able to play with them and would have to play with randoms - which I hate most of the time.
