I still use my SDTV in my room, but when I want to, I bring my ps3 into the living room with my 42" HDTV, so I only need my component cable or my hdmi cable, I don't see why I need to have composite cables.

Most people with HDTVs have HDMI with their console, so there's no need for the composites.

I got my HDMI cable from the same place, a 6ft cable for $12 with shipping.

We both need MS, plain and simple. You need their OS and we need their console. And MSs LIVE service is ever so slightly creeping its way into the PC space. Also Games for Windows branded games are popping up more frequently.

You may be a slave to Steam, but its the Windows logo you look at every time you turn on your PC.
