Pokemon cards were banned from my Elementary school, too. kids kept on stealing other kids cards. :lol:

You saying that you're a true Mario fan because you refuse to play newer Mario games is like me saying that I am a true Pokemon fan but haven't played a game sense the first generation while saying that Pokemon was TEH SUX NOWZ.

Awsome! but I have been a Mario fan from day one (born in 1980) and still am a mario fan. Mario is not just back then Mario is forever. I always think its funny when people say they are old mario fans. Dude go play SMG it will make you a fan again. Mario is immortal. I cannot wait for the NSMB wii it is gonna ROCK!!

If you don't play and love New Super Mario Bros. DS and/or Super Mario Galaxy, a Mario fan you are NOT!

I've been a REAL Mario fan since SMB on the NES.... nothing, no game since has given me the same feeling as when I first held that little controller in my hand and proceeded to run towards the right of the screen only to have screen scroll to the side, rather than stop.

Now... even though no other game has impacted me the way SMB has, doesn't mean that no other Mario's have been as good. SMB3, Super Mario World & SMB64 are the BEST.... Super Mario Galaxy & NSMB are very close behind, and yet still far better than any other platformer available.
