I wonder if male/female and him/her were even a thing before this change. Maybe the main character was just called V and there was no reference to gender. I mean I doubt they would rewrite / cut dialogue, so I think it's likely that gender was only ever present in the character menus.

@with_teeth26: They definitely need Operations in the server browser, their stubbornness to run with the current setup means i don't play it because joining a near empty server just fills me with rage. Also they need current scores in the server browser so we don't join games nearly finished unless we want to. Battlelog reigns supreme in some aspects.

And yes The Witness requires patience and looking up the answers probably takes a lot of magic away. Good pickup for the apocalypse.

Nothing about puzzles, or pacing of encounters / action? Very little about combat, with much more focus on stealth and how it compares to Last of Us. What about how allies work during missions? The review balance seems heavily skewed to presentation & context than gameplay mechanics. I think the review contains too little detail, but that's just my opinion. It's not badly written.

So the maps aren't completely remade? Why are they only including 10 originals then?

I think PS4 is the best choice going forward on the console side, although the xbone has a few decent titles. If I get a new console I would certainly keep my ps3 and 360 consoles for full support for old games. The xbone's back compat varies a little in terms of performance and not all games will be added. MS saw a way to claw some market share back from sony by implementing it though and I think it could help a little bit.

I do plan to get PS4 between now and when Uncharted 4 launches. Then I can also catch up on a few exclusive PS4 games. Might get an Xbone further down the line unless there is a good deal.

Good to see you are still gaming away, regardless of the platform. And yes, Skyrim is pretty amazing. I'm currently addicted to Fallout 4 :P
