I would call it amusing, if I didn't know that A LOT of old people and many people dont actually play video games. People wonder why the public is starting to turn away from Mainstream media..its sht like that and its sht like reporting that theres weapons of mass destruction in places there isnt any. I'ts more serious than you might think. There's people that dont play video game, and have no idea its a game. They'' walk away from this story, believing the Russians hacked the election thinking it looks like this. People in the know, wont and theyll have a giggle, but its more serious than we might realize, misreporting information.
@hansond_jaysond_lee: I have all the Mass effect games on Origin, so PC hands down. Im about to upgrade (been Saving for it) to a GTX 1080 or the next ultra high end card equivalent. Can't wait.
@feleas: Logic? the guy they chose was an epic choice. They chose wisely here. They got it very right here,as much as i like robin Williams and hes an awesome actor. The guy playing Hagrid was perfectly chosen for this role..
@kyelo: Yeah, but nothing that would solidify Harrison Ford as an actor that could take on a movie role and drive the whole movie for an audience and hold it down. To play a character that feeds off all the other characters to make it work as Han Solo is and take on an entire lead role, is another thing entirely. You have to proove to an audience and more importantly the casting and director and production companies that YOU are the guy to play Indiana Jones or Superman for example. Its a big deal.Even George Lucas stated that it was a risk using Harrison Ford. Same thing actually happened with Rocky and Sylvester Stallone, the production company tried to convince Stallone that they needed a better actor to play Rocky and Stallone made it clear, that if they wanted the script , then they needed to use him and him only as Rocky. Imagine rocky without Stallone!?!?!?! Without Rocky, we might not of ever seen Stallone as Rambo. Its amazing how it all comes to together really for careers in Hollywood for some people.
Also the production company in charge of Pirates of the caribbean were almost going to ditch Johnny Depp, because they didn't think he was acting well enough and didn't understand what he was doing for the role. Had they followed through with their instincts, we might not of seen Depp in Pirates Of The Caribbean or in that particular role. But of course,Depp is such a huge draw for women around the world, that i guess their financial advisors jumped in and said, you serious? Depp makes $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ with chicks.
never understood the hype for this game. matter of fact. most mobile games with the exception of the board games and card games and maybe football manager and civilization colonization and RISK (games like that) which I can play as much as i want without spending anything over $14. Things that have a set price are fine, I can play the entire product for just a set price.
But this idea that people are willing to pay $20 for some crystals or $60 for 100 diamonds for games like Wheel Of Fortune (that give the player a whopping 10 turns xtra to play Wheel of fortune per day and maybe 1 turn in an event). Some of these games have really disgusting expensive to the consumer business models. Like for example $159 for a bunch of crystals to get a bunch of character cards, which is no different to bubblegum cards in a shop for like $1, but they are even more worthless than bubblegum cards in a shop, its an insane amount of money for such a little amount of content, sometimes you can actually get NOTHING for $159 if you luck out lol. That $159 for some crystals, is not even unlocking the entire game. It's all a big joke on customers. I wonder if stupid people out there, that have gambling addictions have wasted their mortgages or something on some of these mobile games and lost their families.
@G-Corleone: That role was played to well by that scottish actor, im glad Williams was turned down, despite his awesome acting, both in the comedic realm but even more impressive was his dramatic roles.
Im glad he was turned down really. The guy that played Hagrid was perfect for that role. Sometimes fate wins. Same goes with Indiana Jones, Tom Selleck almost played Indiana Jones, had he not had other commitments at that time, we never would of met Harrison Ford. There's some really interesting outcomes to these circumstances in Movies, that thank god the person that was picked to do it, did it, in many cases. But then there's otehr times, like George Clooney as Batman and you cant help but think, WTF were they thinking?
@DAOWAce: You do know that Valve does 20 million dollar prize pool tournaments with DOTA 2, right? 850'000 people play it every day thats more people playing after release day than all the Battlefields and Call Of Duty games combined on PC. Matter of fact, thats more people playing DOTA 2 than all the Battlefield and call Of Dutys on console to. Matter of fact you could throw playerbase stats of EA's battlefront in there to and combine the playerbase for that with the rest of the Battlefields and COD's totals and DOTA 2 STILL has more players on average every day. You want to know how many people own Counter Strike global Offensive? 26 million....that's MORE than any Call Of Duty product that's ever been released. I think that game and League Of legends are 2 of the highest grosing products out there. Bazillions of people play these games. Have you seen the size of the stadiums for some of these tournaments? it's crazy. http://www.polygon.com/2016/8/13/12469018/here-are-the-winners-of-valve-s-20-million-2016-international-dota-2-championships
