I wasn't disappointed by it because the campaign was leagues better than the campaign found in Halo 2 or Halo 3. It was a throwback to the first game in the series, bringing back things like med packs, falling damage and no dual wielding. I loved it. It was short, no argument there, but it was a hell of a ride and I loved it. I really wish they had included a proper online multiplayer mode for it though. Playing as ODSTs online would have been great fun. Certainly better than Firefight, which was great at first but got boring really quickly.creeping-deth87

I really don't see how the campaing was better than halo 2's. Sure ODST brought back classic Halo: CE elemnts but I just found the campaign to be rather... dull and boring :/

IMO, it's better than Halo 3's campaing but not as good as CE's or Halo 2's.

Silly question.

Same here. I intend to keep on gaming until it is no longer physically possible for me to do so :]

Your not the only one. I don't quite know what I was expecting... But something a bit more than what ODST delivered, if you know what I mean >_>

Thank You!!

Master Chief is like my favourite thing about HALO.

I agree. Where HAS he gone?

mental_case_5

The reason why Master Chief was alsways so silent and you never got to see his face was because he is meant to be YOU. SO, wherever YOU go HE will be there ;]

Yeah it will be on 360 with weaker visuals and scaled down on how open it is.

Darkslayer16

'Weaker visuals' are almost a certainty, but the level of openness being scaled down? I think not.

Using motion control to aim is a pain in the ass. And accuracy cannot be achieved. After a couple of hours, holding up my arm trying to aim at things on the tv begins to tire meThunderdrone

Who the hell still plays like this? lol

Its like the Wii launched yesterday or something.

In this thread people fail to realize the Crysis 2 writer did not write Crysis or Crysis: WarheadSquatsAreAwesom

Yes, but people also fail to realize that Morgan does not hate Halo's story. But hates the way it's conveyed in the game.

"I don't like the Halo at all. The reason that its fiction doesn't work has nothing to do with the fact that you don't get to see Master Chief's face, it's because of lines like 'Okay … I'm gonna get up there and kill those guys',"

Read the article again people. The title is misleading. I believe what Morgan Richard is trying to say is that he hates how the story is represented in Halo. Not the story itself. I may be wrong though...

Using motion control to aim is a pain in the ass. And accuracy cannot be achieved. After a couple of hours, holding up my arm trying to aim at things on the tv begins to tire me, making the game a chore, not something I enjoy.

What Micheal Thomsen wants (the guy who wrote the article) is to make video games more realistic. Which I for one, do not want at all. If I wanted realism in a FPS I would join the army or play paintball. But instead I play Halo because it's fun, unrealistic and doesn't require me to physically exert myself. If I wanted realism in a sports game I would go out and play sport instead of playing it on my TV. Video games are unrealistic, and thats what I like about them.
