homefronts dev sounds a bit of an idiot to be fair
"In the remainder of the interview Dickson said Kaos was gunning for a "subtle approach to the oppression," of the occupied United States, then goes on to say we might be watching parents get killed in front of their kids.
"When we first introduced that idea, a lot of the developers weren't comfortable with it - they have families when they go home, they have kids - and were just like, 'Why are we putting this in the game? I don't like this,'" Dickson said. "But we're going for something where we're trying to make the player feel an emotion here."
why introduce the idea at all???
i have been though
7 xbox 360 premium (gave up after that and gave it away)
2 xbox elites (i think its on its way out)
my ps3 is on its way out it works fine playing blu ray movies just not the games
i have a seven year old vaio pc and although old still runs fine nothing wrong with it at all, it is perfect for what i need
ive had 7 Refurbs/repairs from microsoft, since launch on my premium xbox 360. One of them, scratched a game i was playing (only time it was moved was for cleaning, and there was not a game in it). So yeh in my experience it can scratch discs.
Since everyone is comparing this to the Nintendo Wii launch, did anyone consider that casuals are actually excited for this thing even though most of us here are indifferent? I mean, the Wii was a big hit.. maybe this new peripheral is actually going to move units despite the fact that system wars users seem to despise it. (I don't like my Wii, but that doesn't mean it isn't the king of the consoles in terms of sales.)donalbane
but when the wii came out (and up to launch) it had a HUGE advertising push. there were "wii booths" everywhere, it was on tv shows, it was advertised. Kinect. i havent seen a single thing. Surely for casuals to be excited (and be convinvced to spend £130 on a essentially a controller) they have to see it?
[QUOTE="o0_L0st_B0y_0o"]when did nintendo understock ? when they were first released, wasn't they accused of understocking the product?I have noticed alot, kinect is selling out everywhere. Game for instance in their windows have either signs saying not many pre orders free anymore or in some cases sold out, Anyone else find this a little shocking? what with its price and lets face it, it hasnt been pushed much over in the uk to the "casual market" yet its selling out.
Is microsoft understocking the product like nintendo did with the wii, to increase its demand?
